Superintendent - MEP

About the role

The Superintendent - MEP is responsible for field operations on the project(s) assigned in order to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. The position requires strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises field labor force, including laborers/craft workers
• Responsible for achieving timely and profitable completion of each project
• Demonstrates strong leadership, organizational and time management skills
• Communicates effectively with clients and manages client expectations
• Manages schedules and subcontractors, and coordinates with architectural trades
• Works with contracts and exhibits, and demonstrates detailed planning abilities

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven MEP construction experience
• 7+ years of safety and QAQC cultural knowledge
• 5+ years experience managing schedules and subcontractors, and coordinating with architectural trades
• 5+ years experience working with contracts and exhibits
• 5+ years experience with detailed planning and understanding of plans and specs

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Skanska employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee)

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Effective communication and client service skills
• Experience with scheduling and subcontractors
• Knowledge of contracts and exhibits
• Ability to plan and understand plans and specifications

Pay

Salary range: USD $137,250.00/Yr. to USD $219,750.00/Yr.
