Key Responsibilities
- Support all corporate safety initiatives with a commitment to a safe working environment and safety as the top priority.
- Study plans, specifications, and contracts to plan procedures for construction, focusing on safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
- Lead project schedule development and construction activities to maintain logic, sequence, and timeline requirements.
- Assemble project team members at the start of the project.
- Manage procurement of tools and materials to meet quality standards and work schedules.
- Direct supervisory personnel and subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating phases of construction.
- Resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce.
- Coordinate with design team, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve methods.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to specifications and schedules.
- Perform field labor functions as required.
- Prepare and review reports on progress, materials used, and costs; adjust work schedules as needed.
- Coincide project activities with regulatory or oversight agencies.
- Maintain high standards of candor, integrity, and ethical practices.
- Foster win-win relationships through firm, fair, friendly, and factual interactions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manages those supervisors assigned to provide assistance and non-supervisory employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; makes recommendations to executive management for the rewarding and disciplining of employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Qualifications
- Five - 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Superintendent – Level 1: $79,413 - $136,593
- Superintendent – Level 2: $95,295 - $148,659
