The K-12 Construction Superintendent will play a critical role in delivering large-scale school and educational facility projects, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule performance from groundbreaking through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations on K-12 construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • Report to Senior Operations Leadership and be responsible for leading all field operations on assigned education construction projects
  • Direct day-to-day site activities from mobilization through project closeout
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards
  • Enforce safety programs and promote a culture of jobsite excellence
  • Coordinate construction activities with project management and client stakeholders
  • Lead site logistics, inspections, and quality control processes
  • Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve field issues
  • Maintain clear communication with school district representatives, design teams, and leadership

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent delivering K-12, education, or large institutional construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field operations
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractor trades on complex projects
  • Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and quality assurance
  • Ability to build relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and community stakeholders
  • Experience utilizing construction management software and scheduling tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Stable career progression within commercial construction environments
