Superintendent | K-12 Construction

About the role

This individual will play a critical leadership role in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining strong relationships with school district representatives, architects, and consultants, and ensuring minimal disruption to active campus operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all field operations from mobilization through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, sequencing plans, and site logistics.
• Coordinate construction activities with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Champion CPPI's safety culture and enforce all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and manage punch list activities.
• Serve as the primary field contact for clients, school administrators, architects, and consultants.

Requirements

• Experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects, having led the building of at least two ground-up K-12 and/or higher education.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, sequencing, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.
• Experience working with public-sector clients, including school districts, colleges, and universities.
