Lead daily field operations for a top ENR Indianapolis general contractor with 100+ years in the industry. Work with leadership on exciting industrial and commercial projects for major clients, mentor teams, and shape field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day construction activities on assigned projects
  • Lead projects from preconstruction planning through closeout
  • Drive project schedules and coordinate field operations to meet milestones
  • Supervise subcontractors, craftsmen, and self-perform crews
  • Coordinate and manage concrete scopes of work throughout project execution
  • Create and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules
  • Deliver projects safely, on time, and within quality expectations
  • Operate as the primary field leader and point of coordination on-site
  • Conduct subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and planning sessions
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or Construction Superintendent
  • Experience leading projects from groundbreaking through final completion
  • Background in commercial construction, industrial construction, or education construction
  • Experience managing field operations on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience working with self-perform construction crews
  • Concrete construction experience strongly preferred
