Job Responsibilities

  • Lead all onsite construction activities while maintaining project safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
  • Interpret and enforce project contracts, schedules, and related construction documents.
  • Cookordinate field operations with project management staff, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
  • Develop and maintain site logistics plans to support efficient project execution and OSHA compliance.
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings and weekly subcontractor progress meetings.
  • Oversee jobsite safety initiatives and enforce established safety protocols.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout project execution.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, delay logs, inventories, and punch list tracking.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Cookordinate material procurement and delivery schedules with trade partners.
  • Assist with preconstruction planning, bid package development, shop drawing reviews, submittals, and long-lead item tracking.
  • Support project teams with RFIs, cost tracking, timesheet coding, invoice review, and budget monitoring.
  • Mentor field staff and contribute to the professional development of team members.
  • Utilize company policies, procedures, and best practices to support project success.
  • Participate in training and continuing education opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong client-focused approach and foster positive project relationships.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support project goals and company objectives.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Healthcare construction experience required.
  • Working knowledge of AHCA requirements preferred.
  • Experience with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to maintain project quality while meeting aggressive schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings, specifications, safety procedures, operating instructions, and project documentation.
  • Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Ability to calculate percentages, dimensions, quantities, area, volume, and other construction-related measurements using basic algebra and geometry principles.
  • Basic computer proficiency required.
