Responsibilities
- Lead all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination and daily field operations.
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Enforce quality control standards and ensure work aligns with contract documents.
- Maintain accurate jobsite documentation, including daily reports, schedules, safety records, and progress photos.
- Coordinate inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.
- Promote and enforce jobsite safety programs to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up construction projects with a general contractor or construction management firm.
- Proven ability to manage projects from site mobilization through final closeout.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods across all phases of ground-up work.
- Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Proficiency with construction scheduling tools and standard office software.
- Ability to work full-time on active construction jobsites.
- Physical ability to walk jobsites for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, navigate uneven terrain, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
