About the Role
Manage and supervise construction projects within LAUSD, ensuring timely and quality completion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain project schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on-site
- Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively
- Maintain clear communication with clients and provide regular project updates
- Oversee inspections and ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Resolve any project-related issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily reports and schedules
- Assist the Lead Superintendents with managing all field operations from groundbreaking through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Maintain project schedules and drive production milestones
- Enforce site safety programs and compliance requirements
- Lead weekly site meetings and progress reporting
- Work closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
- Ensure compliance with LAUSD standards, specifications, and procedures
- Manage inspections, punch lists, and project turnover
Qualifications
- Experience managing construction projects within LAUSD or similar education-sector projects
- Knowledge of safety regulations and construction compliance requirements
- Strong coordination and communication skills with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Budget management and cost control experience
- Ability to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
- Familiarity with inspections, quality standards, and project closeout procedures
Pay
Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $175,000 USD annually.
