Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe and secure work environment through maintaining safety meetings, incident investigations and employee involvement.
- Provides key leadership direction for field operations on a project to ensure a cohesive team in conjunction with project management.
- Covers coordination and supervision of all construction activities.
- Manages field personnel priorities relating to technical ability and staffing levels to gain greater efficiencies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cost.
- Includes working with business unit manager and operations manager to coordinate hiring of local staff, conducting performance review, recommending salary changes and resolving internal personnel issues.
- Responsible for coordinating all site construction activities and supervising all field personnel as required to successfully completing the project on schedule and within budget.
- This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.
- Performing material take-offs, order tools, material and equipment.
- Coordination of installation between trades and coordination of subcontractor progress.
- Ensures all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards and company work rules.
- Scheduling equipment deliveries with General Contractor and periodic inspections by governing authorities.
- Ensures compliance with state, local, and federal legal requirements.
- Ensures the quality of work to corporate standards and project requirements.
- Conducts Staff Meetings Foreman and field personnel, addressing management issues as well as safety and productivity improvements.
- Responsible for projects financial labor, material and other cost type budgets and goals.
- Works with project team to make sure start-up and commissioning is executed in accordance with company and project standards.
- Aids in coordinating and quality assurance of drafting resources and fabrication/manufacturing on the project.
- Maintains company culture.
- Implements FIELD Productivity Improvements, assure project compliance and quality assurance.
- Maintains Customer Satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Skills and Abilities:
- Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- 5+ years verifiable experience as a HVAC or Plumbing Superintendent and state plumbing license.
- At least 5 years of experience in LARGE ($20M+) commercial construction (hospitals, high-rise hotels, casinos, office buildings, etc.).
- OSHA 30 certified.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

- Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Climbing stairs.
- Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Quiet environment.
- Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Pay
USD $90,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
