About the role

Lead all on-site construction activities for a $70M+ ground-up, 280-unit multifamily development.

Manage project execution from sitework through final turnover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.

Oversee construction involving slab-on-grade foundations, elevated podium concrete structures, and multi-story wood-frame construction.

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of construction.

Partner closely with the Senior Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to maintain project progress and resolve field challenges.

Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to two Assistant Superintendents.

Drive schedule performance and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.

Maintain a safe and productive jobsite environment while fostering strong relationships with trade partners and clients.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up multifamily construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of wood-frame multifamily construction.
  • Experience with slab-on-grade and elevated podium concrete construction.
  • Background overseeing extensive sitework and site development activities.
  • Ability to lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage multiple project priorities.
  • Strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience overseeing Assistant Superintendents and collaborating with project management teams preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
