About the role

The ideal candidate will provide accurate drawings for sales staff using the company’s drawing library of parts. These drawings will be shared with customers, building officials, and field technicians. The role involves supervising the installation and dismantling of equipment, including scaffolds, ladders, walkways, handrails, and flooring, while enforcing company safety standards. You will oversee multiple crews for projects and ensure operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment in accordance with project-specific plans and layouts.
  • Study plans, blueprints, and equipment lists prior to on-site installation.
  • Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed, including fall protection requirements for scaffolds.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of assigned teams; prepare and administer corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage and direct the loading and unloading of equipment and materials from trucks and vehicles.
  • Oversee budget management, costs, and expenditures.
  • Ensure timely submittal and accuracy of crew sheets, time cards, and job reports.
  • Work with customers to ensure full client satisfaction regarding service quality and project completion within planned schedules.
  • Document project status daily to the Project Manager, identifying risks to schedule, scope, or budget.
  • Request and receive materials for projects.
  • Supervise all laborers, crew leads, and foremen at the job site.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years overseeing the construction and dismantling of scaffolding.
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home for long periods, often beyond three months (100% travel requirement on project sites).
  • Ensures all safety procedures and local/state laws are followed.
  • Current and valid driver’s license; must meet requirements to operate company vehicles.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Frequent travel in the U.S. and possibly abroad; tolerance for physical demands of working outdoors for long hours.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Computer and internet fluency.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Knowledge of materials handling, control systems, fulfillment, distribution yard operations, or supply chain logistics is a plus.
  • Ability to manage site installation with subcontracted or temp agency personnel.
  • OSHA training or certification is a plus.
  • Valid U.S. passport is a plus but not required.

Extensive travel in the U.S. (50% - 90% of the time on the road). Bachelor’s or Associate Degree preferred.
