Superintendent - Commercial Construction

We are seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to run ground up retail and grocery store projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of ground up retail and grocery store projects
• Establish schedules and control costs within contract budget, plans, and specifications
• Direct job site personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and procurement
• Serve as point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards on site
• Document schedules, RFIs, work orders, meeting minutes, back charges, purchase orders, and safety reports
• Track payroll and performance of direct reports

Qualifications

• Five to ten years minimum of superintendent experience on ground up commercial projects
• Direct experience building retail buildings and large grocery stores
• Must be local to Utah
• Proven ability to manage schedules, project costs, and subcontractors on active job sites
• Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills over crews and direct reports
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Understanding of all construction trades and subcontractor scopes of work
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and job cost control
• Experience with project documentation including RFIs, back charges, purchase orders, and meeting minutes

Pay

$110,000 - $145,000 per year
