Build Projects That Make an Impact Hood Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations across a diverse portfolio of projects, including healthcare, education, hospitality, municipal, and historic renovations. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction leader who thrives in the field, values teamwork and craftsmanship, and is committed to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. As the primary on-site leader, you will oversee daily construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout, coordinating teams, managing schedules, and ensuring successful project execution every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations from preconstruction planning through punch list completion
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and inspection activities
• Monitor project schedules, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions to keep work on track
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Conduct site meetings and maintain clear communication with project teams, clients, architects, and stakeholders
• Perform quality control inspections and document daily progress
