Our client, an interiors-focused general contractor with a local Atlanta office, is top-ranked in the city and offers a strong long-term career path. They specialize in Class A office projects ranging from $1M to $35M, as well as higher education, retail, restaurant, non-profit, and LEED-certified projects. While based in Atlanta, opportunities for nationwide travel exist across their seven offices.
About the role
- Primary site leader responsible for all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Establish and maintain the project plan, including weekly progress tracking.
- Manage and coordinate all job site operations, labor, and subcontractors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Maintain positive relationships with owners, design consultants, and project managers.
- Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility representatives to ensure compliance.
- Enforce the Safety Program and manage the Quality Control Program.
- Prepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules.
- Oversee accurate invoice payment processes and financial management of project costs.
- Resolve day-to-day field issues and prepare daily reports on manpower and significant activities.
Requirements
- Construction experience in Class A office projects (required).
- LEED Certification (a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Strong tenure and stability in previous roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
