Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards, contract documents, and applicable building codes.
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and inspectors to deliver high-quality results.
- Manage daily construction site operations and oversee all field personnel.
- Cook up and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, productivity, and workmanship.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance.
- Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays.
- Cook up inspections with local authorities and ensure all required permits are maintained.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage to control project costs.
- Communicate project status with the Project Manager, owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Afford all work meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Afford with project closeout, punch lists, and final inspections.
Qualifications
- Ace or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction supervision experience (experience requirements may vary based on project size).
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6) is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
