Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Enforce company and OSHA safety policies and develop site-specific HASPs.
• Lead field operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Collaborate with project teams on schedules, work plans, and resource needs.
• Cookordinate and supervise crews, forepersons, and daily activities.
• Communicate with owners, agencies, inspectors, and union representatives.
• Manage materials, equipment, and labor to meet project goals.
• Monitor production, costs, and progress to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical guidance.
• Support training and development of field personnel.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in railroad construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with project management software and tools.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

• Knowledge of railroad construction techniques and industry standards.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Experience with construction project planning and execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
