Superintendent

About the role

Superintendent II manages assigned scopes of work independently while also supporting or working under a Senior Superintendent when the project requires it. Depending on project size and complexity, this role may also be working alongside an Assistant Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for assigned scopes or smaller projects.
• Cookordinate subcontractors, deliveries, inspections, and sequencing.
• Review drawings, RFIs, and specifications for accurate field execution.
• Lead daily huddles and assist in weekly subcontractor meetings.
• Perform daily reporting and help update the project schedule.
• Conduct routine quality checks and corrective actions.
• Enforce all job site safety policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance to Superintendent I.

Qualifications & Experience

• 59 years of superintendent or field leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Competence in digital reporting tools and field management apps.
• Ability to travel as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing small commercial projects independently.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Ability to create or update lookahead schedules.
