Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, from concept and estimating through final delivery and closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and cost controls to ensure profitability and timely completion
- Lead project planning meetings, progress updates, and on-site coordination
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to identify risks, constructability issues, and cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate procurement of materials, subcontractors, and long-lead items
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and billing schedules
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in construction project management
- Proven background in residential and/or commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, and scheduling
- Excellent budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficient with construction management software and MS Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred: Design-build project experience, Hudson Valley/New York State construction experience, OSHA certification, Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
