About the role
Extended-hours coverage with shift differential for evening hours.
Flexible schedules set 3 months in advance.
No on-call.
Limited weekends.
Clinics closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Easter, with early closing on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and July 4th.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of acute illnesses and injuries, including higher-acuity presentations.
- Manage episodic and chronic conditions for walk-ins and same-day appointments for ages 2 and up.
- Perform in-clinic procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting, and additional advanced interventions supported by the Super Center model.
- Conduct physicals — sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual.
- Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries.
- Collaborate with a larger on-site clinical team to deliver exceptional care in a higher-volume, higher-complexity setting.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (higher-acuity, emergency medicine, or urgent care experience strongly preferred).
- Master’s degree (NP or PA) and current Georgia licensure.
