Super Center - Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (FNP or PA)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad spectrum of acute illnesses and injuries, including higher-acuity presentations
  • Manage episodic and chronic conditions for walk-ins and same-day appointments for ages 2 and up
  • Perform in-clinic procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting, and additional advanced interventions supported by the Super Center model
  • Conduct physicals — sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual
  • Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries
  • Collaborate with a larger on-site clinical team to deliver exceptional care in a higher-volume, higher-complexity setting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (higher-acuity, emergency medicine, or urgent care experience strongly preferred)
  • Master’s degree (NP or PA) and current Georgia licensure
  • ACLS / BLS certification (will be provided if needed)
  • Experience with occupational health practices including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, and physicals
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and related compliance standards
  • Strong clinical judgment and confidence in medical best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with common PC applications, Microsoft Office, and EMR systems
  • Team-based approach to patient care paired with respect for provider autonomy in decision-making
