Sunday Relief Veterinarian - Kansas City, KS

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Relief Veterinarian to join our team for consistent long-term relief on Sundays and provide high-quality medical care to our patients. This role offers flexibility as a 1099 employee while providing enhanced support, consistency in scheduling, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in a General Practice setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Available to support weekly or bi-weekly shifts on Sundays.
• Deliver comprehensive medical care to pets, including diagnostics, treatment plans.
• Collaborate with our experienced veterinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Implement company protocols to effectively manage time while maximizing standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Kansas.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in small animal or General Practice medicine.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong medical and surgical skills preferred.
