About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead the in-season planning across SDR Apparel, Accessories, and Footwear business. This position is responsible for managing the open-to-buy process, and setting sales, margin, weeks of supply, and DIO plan by product line.

Responsibilities

  • Creates annual, seasonal, and monthly open to buy plan models in alignment with sales channel revenue plans and DIO strategies.
  • Develops in-season product category forecasts at the style, style-color, and SKU level, aligning to financial forecasts.
  • Analyzes historical and sell-through data to forecast demand, support product lifecycle with inventory strategies, and manage inventory from launch to clearance across sales distribution channels.
  • Manages demand and supply forecasts to create monthly and yearly capacity plans by product line.
  • Manages capacity constrained supply requirements which support service, inventory, and cost objectives.
  • Manages monthly consensus, open to buy, and trade working capital deliverables.
  • Manages recommended monthly buy by analyzing sell-through, weeks of supply, revenue plans, and lead-times to support product launch and on-time delivery.
  • Reviews and provides updates of weekly and monthly sell-through performance and adjustments to forecasting and inventory strategies in core, continuing, and seasonal capsules.
  • Pairs cross-functionally to identify product supply risks and provide recommendations on how to act.
  • Reviews weekly and monthly production delivery calendar with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Operations teams to review ship mode options which align demand and supply.
  • Delivers solutions managing healthy weeks of supply for core, continuing, and seasonal product while balancing inventory availability by channel.
  • Manages monthly PO buy quantities style and size analysis for initial and replenishment purchase orders.
  • Manages inventory strategies and facilitates S&OP processes to align demand, supply, and finance goals.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in most Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Advanced working knowledge of apparel, accessories and footwear demand planning, open to buy planning, inventory management and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modeling.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Finance or Business Economics (or related work experience in lieu of degree).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in open-to-buy planning and/or supply chain.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in open-to-buy planning and/or supply chain.

Pay

The expected annual base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000.

Schedule

Normal office conditions with extensive computer and phone usage. Ability to work extended hours as necessary. Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption. Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials. Frequent travel may be required.
