Summer Youth Program

About the role

Volunteer with our Summer Youth Program and help make a positive impact in the lives of youth ages 7 to 18 years old. We are seeking caring, dependable, and positive volunteers to assist staff with daily program activities throughout the summer.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with youth check-in and sign-out
• Helping serve lunches and snacks
• Supporting staff with arts and crafts activities
• Assisting with games, recreation, and group activities
• Helping supervise youth during indoor and outdoor activities
• Encouraging positive behavior and teamwork
• Assisting with organizing supplies and setting up activities
• Supporting educational and enrichment activities
• Helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for all youth

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with children and teens
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Reliable, respectful, and able to work as part of a team
• Patient, supportive, and encouraging with youth
• Experience working with youth is helpful but not required
