Summer Technical Hire (Engineering Technician, Apprentice)
Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking Summer Technical Hire (Engineering Technician, Apprentice) candidates to support projects in new and innovative technical areas at their Lexington Park, MD location. Positions are available from June to August 2026, with potential for continued employment during school breaks. On-site work is required, with a 5-day schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform various engineering and technical support tasks
- Review, update, and maintain electronic documents
- Potential work areas include engineering department, project management department, on-site government support, warehousing, production, and reception
- Travel is not required
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Hands-on experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
- Desired: Experience with UAV builds
- Desired: Proficient in use of applicable tools based on major subject area (e.g. CAD, MATLAB, etc.)
Education
High school senior or rising senior with at least a 3.5 GPA in STEM or Computer/Cyber/Engineering/IT related coursework

Compensation
