About the role
The primary focus of a Summer STEAM Instructor will be to teach Snapology summer camp programs. Instructors are asked to promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while educating students on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) concepts. Programs are conducted for children ages 5-14 for summer camp. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology leadership as well as representing the Snapology organization to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Teach Snapology summer camp programs focusing on STEM concepts.
- Promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Collaborate internally with Snapology leadership.
- Represent Snapology organization to parents and children professionally.
Requirements
- Experience teaching STEM-related subjects to children.
- Ability to engage and motivate children aged 5-14.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field.
- Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.
- Knowledge of STEM concepts and teaching methodologies.
- Passion for STEM education and creativity.
