Summer Operations Internship
This is a seasonal, part-time, in-office position with a variable schedule up to 20–30 hours per week.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Summer Intern to support daily business operations and executive priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the CEO during time onsite in the Baltimore, MD office
- Coordinate and manage business and personal correspondence, including mail, packages, and confidential documents, ensuring timely and accurate handling
- Execute a variety of operational and personal tasks with efficiency and discretion, supporting both business continuity and executive needs
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Team to support end-to-end prescription workflows, including requesting prescriptions from provider offices and ensuring accurate and timely transmission to pharmacies
- Communicate with pharmacies and provider offices to confirm receipt, clarify information, and help resolve prescription-related issues
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive company and employee information
- Support cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned by leadership
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and all forms of technology.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
