Summer Internship, Entry-level, & Transition Job (Sustainability Blogger Affiliate and or Sustainability Consultant Affiliate)

About the Role

This is a blogging and/or consulting ad revenue and affiliate program contract, not full-time employment. Sustainability Blogger Affiliates and Sustainability Consultant Affiliates are independent contractors. Students are encouraged to treat this as a seasonal internship opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Writing straight story, news analysis, and opinion blog posts about local, regional, national, and international sustainability topics in the news (with encouragement to reference sustainability data sources such as NASA and ESRI) in a GP blog post.
• Discussing or recommending blog-related and/or independent research sustainability information in a GP forum post.
• Incorporating a message about sustainable products and services within the blog post or forum post.
• Selling sustainable products and services from seed to popular e-commerce companies such as Amazon and eBay using the GP Eco-friendly Search Engine.
• Writing about sustainability topics in a blog post and/or forum post fulfills the "blogger function" and/or "consultant function" of the job.
• Writing about sustainable products and services such as GP's Friend (or Sponsor) of GP Sustainability Program Membership Sale, GP Services, and/or Eco-friendly and Discount Seasonal Products with the GP Eco-friendly Search Engine fulfills the "affiliate function" of the job.
• Keeping personal copies of all blog posts and/or forum posts submitted to GP, as posts may be deleted from GP at the end of a season.

Schedule

• Start windows: Summer (June – August), Fall (September – November), Winter (December – February), and Spring (March – May).
• May start during any month of a season, but encouraged to start at the beginning of a season to get the most out of the experience.

Pay

Getting paid depends on blog and/or forum ad revenue performance in addition to a proportional affiliate bonus of overall GP Sustainability Program Membership, GP Services, and/or Eco-friendly and Discount Seasonal Products with the GP Eco-friendly Search Engine sales.
