Summer Intern - Project Engineering

About The Role As a Project Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry and contribute to the development of the latest technology. You will report to the APx Project Engineering Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027. Key Responsibilities Help develop engineering solutions for the AP300 and AP1000 projectsSupport the project engineering team in compiling technical design information and preparing reportsWork with several engineering groups to ensure delivery of engineering commitmentsParticipate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on technical challenges and solutionsHelp develop licensing strategies and help fulfill licensing requirementsConduct analysis to support project decision-makingHelp prepare presentations and documentation for all partners Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in or master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)Completed Sophomore year of collegeInterest in the nuclear power industry and nuclear systems and technologiesPrevious internship or project experience in engineeringFamiliarity with nuclear power plant design and operationsBasic knowledge of project management principles We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
