The Park School
The Park School is a Pre-K to Grade 8 independent school in Brookline, MA, dedicated to excellence in education. Responsibilities
- Review and update database records, including address changes, constituency codes, donor listing preferences, etc.
- Create and input new constituent records with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide support before and after events, including logistics coordination and follow-up tasks
- Aid with general administrative tasks such as mailings, filing, and organizing digital or physical materials
- Contribute to special projects aligned with the intern’s interests and skills, as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy, critical for successful database work
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with databases a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) and the Google platform
- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality
- Enthusiastic about working in a professional office environment
- Dependable and committed to fulfilling responsibilities on time
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
- The ability to occasionally actively move about the office to access file cabinets and necessary supplies.
- The ability to consistently operate a computer.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to deploy situational awareness to preserve the safety of students and community members.
- The ability to think independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- The ability to lift and hold 15 lbs overhead.
- The ability to occasionally transport (e.g., move or drag) 25 lbs.
- The ability to maintain focus in an energetic and, at times, loud environment.
