Summer Interior Design Intern position for immediate start

Responsibilities

• Support interior design procurement, including sourcing, purchasing, and order tracking
• Aid with design presentations
• Manage the materials and sample library, assist with selection and sourcing of materials
• Format and organize project sketches and documents
• Aid with on-site interior design installation days if applicable
• Aid staff with small projects, administrative and organizational tasks
• Aid with drafting tasks

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently completed a professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Prioritize those with at least two years of undergraduate study
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment
• Demonstrate strong design skills
• Knowledge of and interest in contemporary art and design is valued
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Office Suite is required
• Proficiency in Rhino and Sketchup appreciated
• Currently residing in the greater NYC area and legally authorized to work in the United States
