Summer Engineering Intern | Continuous Improvement

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with updating and validating Bills of Material (BOMs) within our ERP/MRP system (JEE)
• Support BOM uploads and data cleanup efforts for active projects
• Work with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate material and routing data
• Aid in developing and refining 3D models for traffic structure products
• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and workflow efficiency
• Support CI initiatives focused on standardization and process improvement

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Sophomore or Junior preferred)
• Interest in manufacturing systems, data, or process improvement
• Familiarity with Excel; CAD experience (Inventor preferred) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a desire to improve processes
