About the role

As a Parking Attendant at Hollywood Casino & Hotel, you will greet and assist guests, maintain a clean and secure environment, and ensure a safe and positive experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests by directing them to open parking spots and helping them exit vehicles and the parking facility
• Monitor security cameras to detect and report any criminal activity to authorities
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping parking areas and removing refuse
• Patrol sections, floors, and lots to engage with guests, answer calls, and build relationships
• Clean debris from the parking lot and use hand signals/lights to direct patrons into open spots
• Help guests locate their vehicles and resolve parking disputes between customers
• Conduct highly visible patrols to ensure guest safety and enforce safety rules
• Support other departments to enhance guest service
• Protect property and assets while assisting patrons in safely exiting the parking garage

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in noisy environments with potential cigarette smoke
• Capable of running on level surfaces and navigating stairs
• Able to walk and stand for long periods while moving efficiently across all work areas
• Initiate positive interactions with guests and employees
• Physically mobile with the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in confined spaces
