About the role
Serve as the consistent "go-to" counselor for one camper group throughout each three-week session. Build meaningful connections with campers, guiding them through daily activities and group dynamics. Collaborate with activity specialists and unit leaders to create a balanced, fun, and enriching camp experience. Communicate with parents as the primary contact for camper updates and questions. Support the setup and cleanup of program areas and equipment. Help create a camp environment that encourages exploration, kindness, and personal growth. Attend all required staff training and all-camp events.

Requirements
- Age: 18+
- Experience working with children (required) and supervising staff (preferred)
- CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
- Valid driver's license (eligible to drive camp vehicles after training)
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to move actively throughout camp, supervise children outdoors, and maintain awareness in a dynamic environment

Benefits
- Seasonal Position: Full-time (45--50 hrs/week) during summer, typically scheduled between 7:00am and 6:00pm, Monday--Friday
- Location: Colorado Springs
- Compensation: Hourly pay with overtime at time-and-a-half for hours over 40
