SUMMARY
The Camp Counselor supports the planning and delivery of daily camp activities while supervising and engaging campers in a safe, positive environment. This role promotes camper well-being, maintains schedules and documentation, and works closely with fellow staff and camp leadership to ensure a successful camp experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work collaboratively with a Co-Counselor to plan and lead small-group or unit activities.
- Supervise and support a designated group of campers throughout the camp day.
- Ensure campers follow the daily schedule and arrive on time for activities.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for campers and staff.
- Monitor camper health and safety at all times.
- Report accidents or incidents promptly and complete required documentation.
- Maintain records and submit written reports when requested.
- Foster professional and supportive relationships with campers and staff.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the camp season.
- Communicate regularly with the Camp Director regarding camper concerns or issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with children in camp, school, childcare, or youth programs preferred.
- Ability to work in an active outdoor environment and participate in camp activities.
- Ability to maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for campers and fellow staff.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.

- $130 per day

- June 29 - August 28: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
