Responsibilities
- Enforce respect for personal property, camp equipment and facilities.
- Manage break day outings, activities, and meals.
- Conduct regular rounds of camp to ensure physical and emotional safety of all staff on camp.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff.
- Aid in the clean-up of the total camp at the end of each camper session and at the conclusion of the summer.
- Maintain a standard of cleanliness in personal grooming and in living quarters.
- Demonstrate a commitment to following Jesus Christ as a leader and example to other staff.
- Enforce camp policies and procedures.
- Maintain the utmost level of safety for staff at all times.
- Ensure compliance with American Camping Association standards of safety and programmatic conduct at all times.
- Patrol the camp grounds on a regular basis both during the day and in the evening.
- Remain onsite as the contact for all staff (both minors and adults) Friday afternoon – Monday afternoon.
- Cook and clean up meals for staff.
- Monitor who is coming and going from camp.
- Ensure any visitors have properly signed in and have a visitors pass.
- Ensure all staff are back on camp and accounted for Monday morning at breakfast.
- Report any absences immediately to the LDM and Camp Director.
Qualifications
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and reach overhead.
- Ability to operate telephone.
- Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to access and produce information from a computer.
- Ability to understand written information.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of American Camping Association standards.

Pay
