Summer 2027 Tax Internship (Plano)

About the role

Your Job Koch Inc. is seeking Spring 2027 Tax Interns who are excited about discovering their passions and potential while gaining real experience within our companies that creates value for our customers in our Plano, TX office.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced tax professionals to solve real problems.
• Attend trainings to gain basic tax knowledge and become familiar with tax software programs.
• Prepare corporate income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic and foreign tax law.
• Enhance communication, time management and analytical skills.
• Understand, develop, and apply Principle Based Management™.

Requirements

• Enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or Related Field.
• An interest in corporate taxation planning.
• Available to work a 40-hour week Monday-Friday during core business hours in the Spring or Summer 2027 semester.
• Eligible for full-time employment no later than Summer 2028.
• Ability to relocate per program requirements.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 core accounting courses and a basic understanding of fundamental financial accounting principles.
• Experience with data analytics platforms, business process technology, and basic coding skills such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, and robotic process automation.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.

Interns work a 40-hour week Monday-Friday during core business hours in the Spring or Summer 2027 semester.
