About the Role
Summer Internship – Electrical Construction. Join Slifco Electric for a hands‑on summer internship program designed to give students meaningful experience while working alongside experienced professionals across different areas of the business.
What You’ll Experience
Depending on your interests, background, and project needs, you may gain exposure to areas such as:
- Project Management
- Electrical Engineering & Design
- BIM/VDC
- Estimating
- Prefabrication
- Purchasing & Procurement
- Field Operations
- Safety
- Other construction operations
As an intern you will assist with active projects, participate in team meetings, learn industry software and processes, visit job sites when applicable, and see how a large electrical project moves from planning and design through construction.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in electrical construction and the building industry
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges
- Strong communication skills and a team‑player mindset
- Organized, dependable, and willing to ask questions
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
