Major Responsibilities

  • Communicate professionally, productively, and efficiently with team members and clients.
  • Perform assigned tasks independently under the guidance and feedback of other team members as needed.
  • Manage time effectively, organizing work across multiple assignments.
  • Apply critical thinking/problem solving skills and technical/functional expertise to assigned projects.
  • Aid in preparing accurate, high-quality deliverables for clients according to firm standards and deadlines.
  • Gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, audit and data analytics tools to analyze client information and data, document processes, and create client-ready materials.
  • Apply critical thinking/problem solving skills and technical/functional expertise to work.
  • Uphold professional and ethical standards at all times.
  • Show initiative, teamwork, and leadership potential in a professional services environment.
  • Maintain a client‑service mindset with a commitment to meeting client needs and expectations.

Preferred Experience/Background/Skills

  • Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • Possible planned graduation (with ability to start a full-time role) before May 2028.
  • Coursework or minor in Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Management, Consulting, and/or Supply Chain Management (optional).
  • Ability and desire to travel domestically to client sites, including consecutive weeknights.

Working Conditions

  • This is an in-person/hybrid position, which will include work at our office, clients’ offices in the local market, and domestic travel to clients’ offices.
  • The typical schedule is 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
  • Reduced hours are arranged on a case-by-case basis.
  • Typical business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM, with a commitment to flexibility and work-life balance.
  • The working schedule for this position will be discussed and finalized with candidates upon successful hiring.
  • Must be able to travel for up to 4 consecutive nights.

Salary

The hourly range displayed is specifically for those potential applicants who will work or reside in the state of Colorado, Nevada, or Illinois if selected for the role. This position is a seasonal role with limited benefits eligibility unless required by local, state or federal law.
