About the role
Suite Attendants are responsible for taking guest orders and serving food and beverage according to guest requests. They provide a premium guest service experience by addressing and/or resolving any concerns or special requests made by the guests in the suite(s). Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure suites are stocked with proper food, beverage, and product before and during events based on standards and suite holders’ orders.
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of suite and food service areas during events.
- Replenish food and beverage product during events upon guests’ requests.
- Adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines, including checking guests’ identification.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and all other offerings.
- Break down and clean food service areas and equipment post-event; return equipment to proper storage.
- Inventory product at the end of each event.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
- Ensure security of company assets.
Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server, suite attendant, or other related role.
- Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
- Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
- Must be able to obtain all required alcohol service certifications (Aramark and state/local).
- Friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor toward guests, clients, and co-workers.
- Adaptable to guest needs and able to anticipate guests’ needs.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands
- Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
- May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
