SUE & Survey Technician

Qualifications

• Previous experience interpreting utility records, designating utilities and field sketching required, preferably in an engineering design environment.
• 2+ years field experience in utility locating.
• Strong management and organizational skills while performing field operations.
• Experience with NCDOT projects, Heath and Radio Detection equipment, Ground Penetrating Radar, and vacuum excavation a plus.
• Survey instrument operation experience preferred.

Skills

• The preparation/organization of field sketches & digital photographs.
• Completion of daily checklists & timesheets.
• Vehicle navigation.

Position Details

Individual must be able to travel as needed. Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.
