Responsibilities
- Work under the direct supervision of a Licensed Surveyor and other industry experts.
- Produce detailed, high-quality drawings and reports in accordance with company standards and methodologies, technical guidelines, and client needs.
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as UAV/drone, GPS, robotic total stations, and laser scanning to produce field data.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing complex field observations and sophisticated analysis of on-site surveys.
- Collaborate with field staff and senior staff to foster a high-performance work environment.
- Solve complex construction challenges using problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Competency using computer operating systems and MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and supervisors.
- Strong organizational skills, prioritization, workload management, and detailed record-keeping.
- Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster positive working relationships.
- Ability to understand and adapt to change, react productively to interruptions, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic construction competencies including determining location from surface features and landmarks, interpreting surveys, and understanding construction stakes.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
- Ethical conduct, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring safety and security.
- Physical abilities to handle lifting, walking on uneven ground, carrying equipment, and working in various weather conditions.
