SUD Master's Clinician - Eaton County

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop a person-centered treatment plan that focuses on addressing the needs of the client to include family engagement when applicable
• Cook up care for the client with family and other involved individuals, i.e. school personnel, probation officer, mentor, DHHS, medical personnel, etc
• Provide individual, family therapy, and case management, as needed to each client/family on his/her caseload
• Market and network with community partners and current/potential referral sources
• Complete all service plans, progress notes, discharge summaries and all other necessary documentation in a timely manner
• Represent Samaritas mission and vision with community partners
• Exercise excellence and integrity as the job requirements are fulfilled
• Monitor the quality of overall treatment services to clients on his/her caseload; and evaluate the adequacy of these services to meet treatment objectives
• Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, therapist meetings, and any others as deemed necessary by the SUD Leadership
• Represent Samaritas mission and vision with community partners
• Exercise excellence and integrity as the job requirements are fulfilled
• Responsible for timely Quality Assurance compliance as related to employee’s roles and functions

Job Qualifications

• Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification: Master Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field, from an accredited institution
• Two years of clinical experience working with SUD clientele preferred
• Prior experience working with an interdisciplinary team preferred
• Experience: Minimum one year SUD counseling experience preferred
• Minimum experience working on a team preferred
• Familiarity with SUD documentation preferred
• Full license clinician preferred. Limited license will be considered

Additional Work Requirements

• Valid unrestricted driver's license with good driving record and proof of automobile insurance

Benefits

This position has an annual salary, starting at $57,200 and based on applicable experience. Comprehensive benefits are effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
