Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Substance Use Disorder assessments, recommend appropriate interventions, consult with DDHS Case Workers, and enter data into the ICM system.
- Communicate among ARTS, Denver Department of Human Services (DDHS), and Signal with professionalism and expertise, maintaining positive interpersonal relationships.
- Attend ARTS team/staff meetings, trainings, and other events as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, social work, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of professional level experience working in a substance use disorder treatment clinic/facility, which included medication-assisted treatment.
- Possess a valid registration in good standing with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a Certified Addictions Specialist (CAS), Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C), Social Worker Candidate (SW-C), Licensed Addiction Counselor Candidate (LAC-C), or Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFT-C).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with social service populations.
- Experience working with clients who are involved with the criminal justice system, probation/parole, human services, and/or other similar referral sources.
- Experience providing administrative support to clients, families, staff, and other stakeholders in a substance abuse treatment setting.
- Experience managing financial paperwork including creating invoices, tracking expenditures, and gathering statistical data.
- Experience working with electronic health records.
