Jobs for America's Graduates - Kansas is seeking a full-time Success Academy Specialist (and Substitute) for Southwest Kansas. The position involves identifying, recruiting, and educating students facing barriers to graduation, helping them transition to college, military service, or careers, and delivering value-added instruction and support.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and educate students facing graduation barriers
• Help students make a successful transition from school to college, military, or career pathways using the JAG model
• Develop positive relationships with students through project-based learning, trauma-informed practices, and employer engagement
• Deliver value-added instruction, support, and advocacy to graduates and non-graduates through follow-up services
• Substitute for Career Specialist when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Valid driver's license
• Lives in Kansas
• Works independently and manages multiple priorities
• Proficient with technology

Qualifications

• Passionate about student success and supporting them through various challenges
• Enjoys educating youth to provide them with tools for long-term success
• Willing to work in a flexible, full-time educational role
