Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating New Student Orientation
- Facilitating students' successful transition to college
- Researching and implementing evidence-based strategies to address achievement gaps
- Monitoring students in need of additional support and connecting them with appropriate campus and community resources
- Providing academic advising and individualized support to students, with a particular focus on at-risk and underserved populations
- Developing and distributing family outreach materials to strengthen student support and family engagement
- Collaborating with the Student Success Team to plan and facilitate registration events and other student success initiatives
- Collaborating with four-year colleges and universities to coordinate transfer events, assist students with transfer planning, and provide individualized guidance
- Scheduling, proctoring, administering, and analyzing a variety of assessments for the Testing Center
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Proficiency working in one-on-one situations
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Experience with tracking outcomes and/or writing reports
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Experience working with high school and/or college students
- Proficient use of computers and applications
Pay
Annual salary is $38,000 - $42,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
