About the role
Lodi Unified School District is actively seeking substitute teachers to join our team. We are happy to assist you in applying for your substitute permit if you meet the eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- Possess a BA or BS from a regionally accredited four-year college or university, OR
- Completion of a minimum of 90 semester units of course work from a regionally accredited four-year college or university AND verification of current enrollment in a regionally accredited four-year California college or university
- Passing CBEST score or qualifying Basic Skills requirement (www.ctcexams.nesinc.com)
Application materials
Interested applicants MUST attach the following through the online Edjoin application:
- Completed Edjoin application
- Resume
- Two recent Letters of Recommendation from supervisors
- If you already possess either: a valid California Credential, or a valid 30-Day Emergency Substitute Permit
Letter of interest, resume, copy of credential or letter from the university verifying date of credential program completion, and letters of recommendation also need to be submitted online as attachments. Please do not e-mail any of these items to the Personnel Department. The application process is paperless—we will not accept paper applications for this position.
