ISD 1 Aitkin Public Schools is seeking individuals to join our School District Teacher Substitute List for on-call, at-will positions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Follow regular lesson plans as closely as possible
- Apply appropriate classroom management techniques to facilitate learning
Requirements
- Valid Minnesota Teacher License or Short-Call Substitute License through PELSB (Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board)
- If you hold a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, you may become licensed as a substitute teacher (contact the Aitkin Public Schools District Office for details)
Pay
$140.00 per school day
Schedule
- Hours vary according to substitute opportunity
- Elementary school days: 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- High school days: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
