SUBSTITUTE TEACHER - On-Call / Part-Time

What You Will Do

• Teach all subjects to grades 7-12 in a multi-age classroom environment
• Use various methodologies and research related to learning
• Implement effective classroom and behavioral management techniques
• Communicate effectively with site staff and utilize technology as an educational tool

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
• Minimum of 1 year working in educational classrooms in a variety of core subjects OR current and valid State teaching credential in English, Social Studies, and/or Special Education
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm as needed – 29 hours a week maximum.
