Substitute Teacher, Part-time

About the role

Westminster Christian Academy is currently seeking Substitute Teachers for the 2025-26 school year.

Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects to students in grades 7 through 12.
• Adhere to the curriculum and instructional goals set by the school.
• Ensure student safety and maintain a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Current Missouri teaching certificate or ability to obtain one within six months.
• Experience teaching in a K-12 setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt to different age groups and subject areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay

$105 per day.

Schedule

Substitute Teacher hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
