About the role
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Substitute Teacher- Part Time at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Filling in for teaching staff that is off duty
- Implementing and adhering to the principles of Positive Peer Culture
- Providing instructional services to students
- Working collaboratively with staff in a supportive fashion
- Empowering a positive attitude toward students, staff and program
Requirements
- AA or BA/BS degree
- Valid Arizona Teaching credentials
- Related experience working with at-risk youth
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise students
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience working in a behavioral health office environment
- Experience and success in office management
- If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver
- Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
- Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test
